You are finally here! Daddy and I absolutely adore you. We have both never been happier in our lives. We are both thanking God for you. I don't think we could have hand picked a more perfect baby.
On Saturday, May 11th, 2013, my water began leaking. Daddy and I went to the hospital and they did a test and it came back negative for amniotic fluid. So they sent us home. We celebrated Mother's Day early with Grandma Lisa, Papa Dan, Aunt Noelle and Uncle Nate later that day. That night I started leaking more fluid. I went to bed and decided I would see how it was in the morning. Four hours later I woke up still leaking fluid. Daddy and I drove to the hospital again at 4 am on the morning of Mother's Day. When we got to the hospital they tested me again and it came back positive and the nurse looked at us and said, "You are going to have your baby!" Daddy and I were so surprised and excited! Twenty hours later you were born at 39 weeks and 6 days, just one day before your due date.
First we had each other,
Then we had you,
Now we have everything.

Mommy has been praying for your safe arrival and for a safe delivery. Our doctor scheduled me for an induction. We will be going to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14th. The date is your exact due date! We can not wait to meet you that day, unless of course you decide to come before that! Mommy & Daddy have been busy preparing for you. Daddy hung some drapes in our bedroom and got an air conditioner to keep our room cool for you. I made daddy and I twenty freezer dinners so that I can spend more time with you when you get here! Your bassinet is next to our bed and your bedroom is ready. Here are the pictures. Pretty soon you will be in our arms.
Your Baby
Your baby weighs about seven pounds (3.2 kg) this
week and is continuing to build-up fat under the skin. The digestive
system is now capable of digesting liquid foods and she is busy peeing
at regular intervals. Your little one’s skin is now a pinkish-red
color. Most of the lanugo (body hair) is now gone and any remaining
amount will fall out soon after birth. Although your little one’s
muscles are stronger now, there is not much room inside your uterus and
she may not be moving quite as much. However, you should still feel
regular movements. If your baby is a boy, his testes will have dropped
into his scrotum and if your baby is a girl, her labia will be
prominent. Your due date is almost there!
